australian cosmetic laws

In Australia, all cosmetic products and their ingredients must comply with the changed legislative requirements for cosmetics and all NICNAS requirements must also be met.  The three Australian Government Agencies who administer the legislation regulating cosmetics are NICNAS, TGA and ACCC.

It can sometimes get confusing on the web, especially when it comes to the guidelines, standards and laws relating to cosmetics.  If you require any assistance in these matters, please contact the relevant government agency.  Additionally, you may choose to contact us for further guidance, we are always happy to help.
